Hello!

​I’m Andrea Villamisar, a professional translator specialising in legal and public sector translation, medical and healthcare translation, and educational and e-learning content.

​

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Vigo and a Master’s degree in Specialised Translation from the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC). I offer translation, machine translation post-editing, proofreading and editing services.

I mainly translate from Swedish, English and French into Spanish and Galician, my native languages. I enjoy working with specialised texts, researching the right terminology and finding solutions that preserve both the meaning of the original and the natural flow of the target text.

Every project is different and requires attention to detail, an understanding of the context and a good deal of curiosity. My goal is to ensure that your text is accurate, clear and natural, tailored to the needs of your audience and your project.
